UTair-Engineering about Exchange service

In January 2016, HSC launched a new Exchange Service allowing the operators of helicopters significantly reduce the time, labor and acquisition costs of ASP (aircraft spare parts).

HSC Exchange Service allows quick replacement of inoperative equipment, or equipment with expiring TBO (time between overhaul), with 1st category spare parts or reconditioned 2nd category parts and provides a discount in the amount of the cost of unserviceable component.

After 10 months of Exchange Service availability, operators give a positive feedback on the efficiency of HSC, which helps them to minimise helicopter downtime during scheduled or urgent spare parts repairs. Operators also noted favorable terms of cooperation with HSC on Exchange Service.

Victor Kozlenkov, First Deputy General Director of UTair-Engineering, shares his experience of using Exchange Service:

«Our company appreciates the new Exchange Service offered by HSC. Replacement of main gearbox VR-14 unserviceable component, owned by our company, with a new gearbox VR-14, produced in 2016, was carried out in the shortest possible time and on favorable conditions.

We can confidently say that HSC Exchange Service will be in demand by helicopter operators to reduce downtime of aircraft and to update the material resources with minimal costs.»
